When people read the scripture regarding Luke 7:28, it throws a curve ball in their game like a Nolan Ryan pitch. Pondering this scripture and the one like it in Matthew 11:11, the question arises: what was Jesus really saying? How could he say such a thing about a person who had been so faithful to his calling and ministry? We all know that when it comes to faithfulness for most Christ...

You've heard the popular saying millions of times in the past especially by weather forecasters. However, more recently we have heard this term played out in the media when referring to the Haiti disaster and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. First of all some people try to relate this to God getting back at people for the evil committed in these cities, New Orleans the ramped...

The first commandment says, "You should have no other gods before Me." In addition, the second is like it stating, "You should not worship any graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." God is clearly showing mankind in Exodus 20 that not only should you cease worshiping any other go...

For the second part of this article, I would like to talk about a topic regarding Jesus' deity that comes up frequently. We know that if Jesus were not God he would be the number one heretic in the world because he does many things according to the bible that would be blasphemous, such as accepting worship. If Jesus were not God, what was he doing accepting worship from others? S...

There are as many Jesus' out there as there are Elvis sitings and leaves as about as bad of a taste in a Christian's mouth as the thought of where chitlins come from. Well the thought of Chitlins make my insides churn, especially because they stank like nobody else's business, but I digress. We have so many clowns out there claiming to be Jesus and/or spread their poisonous false gospel...

When we look at Mark 10: 17-25 we know this is speaking of the rich young ruler, who was speaking to Jesus about following him. The story seems to be pretty general until Jesus asks the young ruler to sell all he had and come follow him. At that point, we know the young ruler "lost heart" and was sad that he was not going to be able to follow Jesus. To part with all his father had...

Have you ever tried to be perfect for someone? It is quite a daunting task, indeed. Matter fact, one of the favorite lines out there by us Christians is the one where we say, "You think you're perfect? Well the next time you feel that way, try walking on water." Who can accomplish such a task accept for the One who came down to earth and actually accomplished it. Yet ...

This question, unfortunately, has many Christians puzzled because of their lack of knowledge of the bible. Critics say it's all just a faith matter and has nothing to do with evidence or real proof. I say that someone needs to go back to the basics of doing their homework and understanding how information was gathered and reported during these times in the early first century. We...

The word trinity is not anywhere to be found inside the bible, but the concept is clearly expressed throughout the New Testament. It is a word that was first expressed by Theophilus (A.D. 168-183). The God of the bible is clearly one God expressed in three distinct persons, each having their role and part in history. The Trinity doctrine explains the Father is fully God, the Son J...

Many critics of the bible say that many people never have had a legitimate chance to come to salvation because God has already chosen them to go to Hell, according to their interpretation of Ephesians 1:11-12 and others like it. The Strong's Greek dictionary word for predestined is prooridzo meaning: determined before, preordained, election, foreknowledge. Many people vigorously debate...
