Marriage has been described as a three ringed circus:  engagement,  wedding, and suffering.  This is the idea that most Americans have of marriage–a dull and disillusioned, give-up mentality.  I happened to walk into the break room at my job today and noticed they were on the topic of marriage on the Dr. Phil show. A woman who has made a habit out of preying off married men was on the show talking about how she feels that some marriages can actually benefit from an adulterous affair.    Marriages are destroyed when people cheat and the covenant that God says it is, is broken.

Although the dancing couple is not married, think about their commitment, their desire, the long hard hours of practicing with sweat and tears and pain.  Can you imagine if people put that much effort into their marriage? especially us Christians like we are suppose to, according to the bible.

 C’mon all you cheaters out there, you’re better than that.  

A good marriage and a long lasting one has gone through “hell and high-water”.  If people would stop getting into marriage by just sticking their toe in, but jump full force with full commitment, that’s lasting. The bible is clear on how to take care of your marriage. You surely cannot be a lazy person because it takes great work and effort. The bible  says, “Let no man tear apart what God has put together.”  Your marriage should out last all trials and tribulations because at the altar, the covenant was not only made between you and your spouse but a covenant with the LORD. If everyone would stick to the fight, we wouldn’t even need attorneys. Let the dancing couple on Godtube  be an inspiration to the fact that anything is possible when two people are committed to excellence.  If people will strive for these standards in their marriage,   great & long lasting marriages will no longer be a thing of the past.  Praise the LORD, “A three cord strand is not easily broken,” when He is put first.
